For our final project for Interactive Game Design, teams of 3 had to create a short game. The purpose of this project was to create a small game within Unreal Engine, create models, Character model with animations, and add in sound effects. This game allowed the player to walk around in 3 different levels.
The main idea for this game is that the story is based on the legend of the Chinese dragons. We wanted to create a game that had a style similar to that of a puppet show.
The first video shows the Main Menu that I created. I had to create the blueprinting and the Menu design within Unreal Engine. The text I created in Photoshop in order for it to light up when you would hover over it. The models that you see were are modeled by me except for the trees and plants.
The second video shows what I animated within UE4 with sequencer. The dragon and cage models were created by my other teammates.
All modeling was created within 3DS and then imported into UE4.
